Well, we have the same kind of thing here also. Protests against the war in Iraq for example. People are camped in Washington DC right in front of the Capitol or White House.
Yes, I am very lucky to live here! I have a little garden with raspberries, strawberries, marion berries and boysenberrys and blueberries and 5 varieties of table grapes. In additon to that, I have so many flowers. We have 2.5 acres of land with a beautiful view of Mt. Hood. It is quiet and peaceful. If you look at the January 19 entry on my blog, you can see the view from my deck.
